Are bounce houses safe?
Are bounce
houses safe? Absolutely! As long as all the
rules outlined on the operating procedures page
of your rental contract are followed, and the
unit is supervised at all times, they are very safe. Bounce houses are as safe as playing in your own house, maybe safer. We want your event to be as safe as possible, so we will walk you through the safety features prior to final setup. Please
review our safety rules and instructions
How
safe are bounce houses? A lot safer
than trampolenes! ALL
of our units have inflatable steps and "sit down-slide out" entry ways, you never
have to hold the entrance shut or catch your children while they are falling out. Our
Bounce Houses are constructed with children's safety
in mind. They are covered for protection from the weather.
They are made of extra strong materials with netting on the sides for safety, as well as extra ventilation. We also have
an inflatable safety step, so that children
are able to climb into the bounce house by themselves. No lifting of the little ones
required. A responsible ADULT must supervise
play at all times.
How
safe are your inflatables?
Our
inflatables are constructed with quality and safety in
mind! All of our units have the child
safety ramp/step for safe & easy entry/exit; they are constructed from very
durable commercial grade vinyl with double and quadruple stitching. ALL of our inflatables meet and/or exceed ATSM rental industry standards.
Each of our inflatables is equipped with list of rules. We will also supply recommended guidelines
for safe use and recommended number of children
that should be allowed to use the unit at one time.
How
does the inflatable unit stay inflated?
We
setup the unit and inflate the moonwalk or slide with a fully enclosed blower motor unit
that must stay on the entire time
that the inflatable unit is being used (unless winds exceed 20mph, then it must be shut
down). The design of the blower is such that no
moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that you should take
into account when children are around. The blower unit must be located within 50 feet of an electrical outlet. The Bounce has a fan that plugs into a standard
electrical outlet. The Bounce must be placed within 50 feet of this outlet. If it
is to be placed in a field or further than 50 feet of an outlet then you would need
to have a generator. We can furnish this, however, we would need advance notice and
there would be an additional charge.
What
if I want the inflatable setup where there is no electrical outlet, or at least no outlet
within 50 feet?
We
can setup your bouncer virtually anywhere. You will need to bring a generator in
order to power the blower. Keep in mind that there is a additional charge for
generator rental
Do I need to
provide anything or do anything special?
Aside from
showing the delivery person the location to set-up and showing him/her the electrical
source, no. We will provide and set up all necessary equipment. The blower will need to be
located within 25 - 50 feet of a
designated, grounded, 3-prong, 110v,
20amp, GFCI electrical outlet. Also, to keep the setup process quick and
efficient, please clear the area of any debris, animal droppings, or hazardous
material.
